A non-fungible token, or NFT, is a digital asset used to represent ownership of unique items or access, whether digital or physical. Most commonly they are used for digital collectibles. Ownership and transfer of an NFT is secured by a blockchain like Ethereum, which ensures that one NFT only has one owner at any given time, and that nobody can modify the history of the token's ownership.

There are 2.022 NFTs in the collection, representing the founding year of our company BeeAdvice GmbH.

A blockchain is essentially a digital ledger of transactions that is duplicated and distributed across the entire network of computer systems on the blockchain. Each block in the chain contains a number of transactions, and every time a new transaction occurs on the blockchain, a record of that transaction is added to every participant's ledger. The decentralised database managed by multiple participants is known as Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT). Recording information this way makes it difficult or impossible to change, hack, or cheat the system.

zkBees are published on zkSync, an Ethereum layer 2 scaling solution created by Matter Labs. ZkSync is made to look and feel like Ethereum, but with lower fees.

ZkSync is a layer 2 scaling solution on Ethereum that offers cheaper and faster transactions than the main Ethereum blockchain (layer 1), without compromising on security. We've all been waiting a long time for a zkRollup that represents the end-game for Ethereum scaling - one that scales the technology and values of Ethereum without degrading security or decentralization. It's taken 4 long years, but zkSync Era is now on mainnet, rapidly moving toward a full gated-release (expected Q1 2023). We want to take advantage of this opportunity to be part of this big event in the blockchain space with our digital collection.

A cryptocurrency is a digital currency or store of value that uses the blockchain, a digital transaction ledger, to record and secure online transactions. Cryptocurrencies can be used to buy goods and services. Currently, the most traded cryptocurrency is Bitcoin, followed by Ethereum.

A cryptocurrency wallet is a digital storage on the blockchain that enables you to store and transact with cryptocurrencies. In it's simplest form, a wallet comprises a public and private key, which are cryptographically generated. To make the process of setting up a wallet user-friendly, there are many software wallets, such as Metamask, which equip you with a wallet address, key vault, secure login, and backup options to manage your digital assets securely. Metamask runs as a browser extension and / or mobile app, and you can be up and running in just a couple minutes. With a digital wallet, you hold the keys and are in charge of your own assets. Your assets are only as safe as your keys, so back them up and keep them safe! Remember to never, ever share your seed phrase with anyone. That is for your eyes only!

As soon as a user wants to initiate a transaction on Ethereum, he has to pay a network fee depending on the blockchain and the level of congestion of the chain at a specific time. These fees can fluctuate and serve to pay miners for their validation work.

You can store your ETH on a Metamask-type wallet (other examples: TrustWallet, Coinbase Wallet, Rainbow Wallet, etc.), preferably a wallet for which you alone hold the private key. Note that it will not be possible to buy an NFT if your ETH is stored on an exchange platform such as Binance, Coinbase or Kraken. If your ETH is on such a platform, you will need to send it to your Metamask wallet so that you can later connect your wallet to our website or a secondary marketplace like zkMarkets to purchase further zkBees.

First, visit the official Metamask website and download the extension to your browser. Set up your wallet by clicking Start and then Create Wallet. Create a password and store it in a safe place (e. g. on paper). Your private key is extremely confidential and sensitive: an individual who gets ahold of these words can take control of your wallet and access your funds. Never write down these 12 or 24 words on a digital medium connected to the Internet.

To acquire a zkBee you will be asked to pay in ETH to purchase the item on our website during the minting phase.

We want our digital collection to be as cheap as possible to onboard as many new people to the blockchain space as possible. Our collection will be free for our customers, friends, and newcomers in the space.

All ETH will be used to buy other digital collections for our company treasury account or will be used to further develop products and services for our holders and customers. All NFTs in our company treasury account will be publicly available for everyone on our website.

During our initial mint you can purchase up to 10 zkBees per wallet in one or two transactions. After the minting phase, you can buy as many NFTs as you want on secondary marketplaces like zkMarkets. A link to zkMarkets will be added to our website after mint.

Gas fees, or minting fees, are paid to miners as a reward for processing blockchain transactions and keeping the network online and secure. NFT creators like BeeAdvice GmbH do not set gas fees or receive proceeds from gas.

Yes, it is possible to resell your NFTs on secondary marketplaces like zkMarkets. If you resell a zkBee, you will receive ETH directly in your cryptocurrency wallet, minus the platform provider fees. Listing your NFT involves the payment of blockchain transaction fees, which fall exclusively to the blockchains validators.
